Music Licensing - use our music

Want to use our music in your content? Great!
Here’s what you need to know:

Can I use your music for free on YouTube?
Yes! Our music is free to use for independent creators and their UGC (User Generated Content) as long as we are being credited correctly. All we ask for is a friendly shoutout to our YouTube channel @FantasyLofi so that your audience knows who made the music. Please copy paste the following message to the top of your YouTube video description:

What you can’t do
We do not allow content which is simply a music upload (music visualiser, music player) and you cannot redistribute our music on platforms such as Spotify, Apple etc. Meaning, you should only use our music in creative video content, not simple reuploads of our music. Get creative with our music, don’t just steal it.

How it works
We make lofi covers based on musical compositions we do not control. We fully own the masters/recordings, which we are happy for you to use, but you cannot seek a license for the publishing side from us since we don’t control it.

This means that should you want to use our music in your content, you do so at your own risk. You will not receive a claim from us (as long as our terms above are respected), but we cannot speak for the respective publisher(s). The same goes for if you want to stream our music in the background on your Twitch etc.
